Where Fear Cannot Remain
Where fear once whispered
Of loss, of failure, of the unknown,
Your perfect love entered—
And fear found no place to stay.
Not forced away by strength,
But undone by love complete,
A love that sees me fully
And does not turn away.
In Your presence,
Fear loses its argument.
The heart learns rest
When it knows it is loved.
Let Your love finish its work in me,
Until trembling gives way to trust,
And every anxious thought
Bows to Your faithfulness.
Remain with me, O God,
Until love is all that speaks,
And fear is only a memory
Of what Your love has overcome.
Amen.
