A Prayer of Peace
O God of stillness,
When my thoughts rise like restless seas,
You speak—not with thunder,
But with peace.
You leave it with me,
Not as the world bargains or breaks,
But as a gift that stays
When certainty does not.
In the quiet between breaths,
Your promise settles my heart.
Fear loosens its grip,
Because You have already spoken.
Let this peace guard my mind,
Anchor my soul,
And remind me that even now
I am held.
Teach me to trust what You have left with me—
A calm not shaken by loss,
A hope not stolen by time,
A peace that comes from You alone.
