 "Bless us with length of life."

This is a prayer for the gift of many days—to see children's children, to fulfill purpose, to walk with God through all the seasons He grants.

The Scripture That Holds This Promise:

Psalm 91:16: "With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."

Proverbs 3:1-2: "My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you."

Psalm 128:5-6: "May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life, and may you live to see your children's children—peace be upon Israel."

A Prayer for Long Life:

"Lord,

Bless us with length of life—

not merely years counted, but years filled with Your presence.

May we live long enough to see Your faithfulness,

to witness the rising of new generations,

to finish the work You have given us.

But let our long life also be a good life—

rich in love, rooted in peace, fruitful for Your kingdom.

Keep us healthy in body, strong in spirit, and young in hope.

And when we have lived our full measure of days,

receive us into the eternal life that never ends.

For length of life on earth is a blessing,

but life with You forever is the greatest blessing of all.

The Promise for You:

God is the giver of life. He numbers our days. Whether many or few, each day is a gift. But He delights to satisfy His faithful ones with long life—not as a reward earned, but as a blessing from a generous Father.
