Bless my Night.

Here is a prayerful poem and a collection of scriptures asking for God's blessing and protection over your night.

Bless My Night

Bless my night, O Lord, I pray,

As darkness settles, as day gives way.

Wrap me in Your peaceful embrace,

And guard my rest with endless grace.

Calm my thoughts that race and roam,

Quiet my heart, make it Your home.

Still the worries of the day,

And chase the fears that come to stay.

Let no nightmare, no alarm,

Reach me here within Your arm.

Let angels watch around my bed,

And whisper peace above my head.

If I should wake before the dawn,

Remind me that You're still upon

The throne of heaven, strong and true—

And that Your love will see me through.

Bless my sleep, refresh my soul,

Make my broken spirit whole.

Rise with me when morning breaks,

For in Your hands, my night is safe.

A Prayer for the Night

Heavenly Father,

As I lay down to sleep,

I place this night into Your hands.

Thank You for watching over me

while I am unaware.

Guard my home, my family, my heart.

Let my sleep be restful,

my dreams be peaceful,

my waking be renewed.

If You wake me in the night,

let me find You there—

in the stillness, in the silence,

in the comfort of Your presence.

I trust You with this night,

just as I trust You with my life.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
