Bless my Dwelling Place.

 This is a prayer that invites the presence and protection of God into the very place where you live, rest, and love.

Bless my dwelling place.

Let Your presence fill every room—

the rooms where we gather,

the rooms where we sleep,

the rooms where we work,

the rooms where we cry,

the rooms where we laugh.

Let peace reign within these walls.

Let love be the language spoken here.

Let forgiveness be freely given and received.

Let rest come easily to those who enter.

Protect this home from every harm—

from the enemy who prowls,

from the storms that rage,

from the fears that knock at the door.

Let this dwelling be a sanctuary—

a place of refuge for the weary,

a place of welcome for the stranger,

a place of healing for the broken,

a place of worship for Your name.

May Your angels encamp around this home.

May Your blessing rest on all who live here

and all who visit here.

Bless my dwelling place, Lord.

Make it a little taste of heaven

until we come to our eternal home.
