Lord, Sanctified my dwelling place.

Amen. "Lord, sanctify my dwelling place."

This is a powerful and necessary prayer. To sanctify means to set apart as holy, to consecrate, and to purify. You are asking the King of Glory to step into your home, not just as a visitor, but as the Lord of the house. When His presence fills your dwelling place, every shadow flees, every burden is lifted, and peace reigns.

"In every place where I cause My name to be remembered [through the burning of incense and the offering of sacrifices], I will come to you and bless you." — Exodus 20:24 (AMP)

The Scripture That Sanctifies Your Dwelling:

2 Samuel 6:11 (AMP) — "The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite for three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and all his household." (When God's presence dwells in a house, the entire household is blessed.)

Luke 19:5 (AMP) — "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down [from that tree], for today I must stay at your house." (Salvation and sanctification come to the home where Jesus is welcomed.)

Psalm 127:1 (AMP) — "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it."

Proverbs 24:3-4 (AMP) — "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches."

Joshua 24:15 (AMP) — "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."

A Prayer to Sanctify Your Dwelling Place:

"Lord Jesus,

I invite You into my dwelling place.

Not just to visit, but to abide.

Not just to pass through, but to make Your home here.

Sanctify my home.

Set it apart for Your glory.

Cleanse it from every trace of darkness, strife, and impurity.

Let Your blood cover every doorpost and every room.

Let Your presence fill every corner.

I renounce any darkness that has tried to take root here.

I rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, division, or heaviness.

I command every unclean thing to leave this place—

in the name of Jesus.

This house belongs to the Lord.

Let Your peace rule in this dwelling.

Let Your joy fill these rooms.

Let Your love be the atmosphere we breathe.

Let Your Word be the foundation upon which we stand.

Let this be a house of prayer.

A sanctuary of rest.

A refuge for the weary.

A lighthouse of Your love.

A place where Your presence dwells and Your name is honored.

Bless this dwelling place, Lord.

Let everything that happens within these walls bring glory to You.

Let those who live here walk in Your ways.

Let those who visit feel Your peace.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Sanctify my dwelling place—today and always.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."
