The Promise.

 "The promise."

In the flow of all you have declared, this points to the sure and steadfast anchor of God's covenant with you.

The Scripture That Holds the Promise:

Acts 2:39: "The promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself."

2 Peter 1:4: "He has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature."

Hebrews 10:23: "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful."

2 Corinthians 1:20: "For all the promises of God find their Yes in him [Christ]."

What Is the Promise?

· Salvation—forgiveness of sins and eternal life through Jesus.

· The Holy Spirit—the Helper, the Comforter, the Seal of your inheritance.

· God's presence—never leaving you, never forsaking you.

· Provision—every need supplied according to His riches.

· Restoration—the years the locusts have eaten returned.

· Eternal life—a home in the Father's house.

A Declaration:

"The promise is not just for someone else.

It is for me.

For my children.

For all who call on His name.

God is not a man that He should lie.

He has spoken.

He will do it.

I stand on the promise.

I trust the Promiser.

And I will see His faithfulness."

The Promise for You:

The same promise that carried Abraham, that sustained David, that empowered Peter and Paul—that promise is yours today. Hold fast. He who promised is faithful.

The promise is for you. Receive it. Live in it. Rest in it.
