Holy Spirit, My Light in the storm.

This is the cry of a soul that knows the storm is raging—and knows where true light is found.

"Holy Spirit, be my light in the tempest."

The Scripture That Promises This:

Psalm 18:28: "You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light."

John 16:13: "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth."

Acts 2:2-4: The Spirit came as a mighty wind—but also as tongues of fire, bringing light into the chaos.

Isaiah 42:16: "I will lead the blind in a way they do not know, in paths they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light."

A Prayer in the Storm:

"Holy Spirit,

I am in the tempest.

The winds howl, the waves crash,

and I cannot see the way.

Be my light.

Not a distant star,

but a lantern at my feet.

Not a far-off promise,

but a present help.

When fear tries to blind me,

let Your light expose the lie.

When confusion swirls around me,

let Your light draw a straight path.

When the darkness feels endless,

let Your light remind me:

dawn is coming.

You are the Comforter, the Guide, the Flame.

You led Israel through the wilderness.

You illuminated the disciples on Pentecost.

You turned Saul's blindness into blazing vision.

Do the same for me.

Be my light in this tempest.

And lead me safely home.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."

The Promise for You:

The Holy Spirit does not abandon you in the storm. He rides with you in the boat. He walks with you on the water. He shines in the darkness—and the darkness cannot overcome it.

Holy Spirit, be my light. He is. He will. He never fails.
