Your love is all I need.

You Are Enough


When I have nothing left to give,

When I have no reason left to live,

When every hope has slipped away—

Your love is all I need.


When I have wealth and comfort too,

When everything I touch turns true,

When blessings fall like gentle rain—

Your love is all I need.


In want, in wealth, in joy, in pain,

In sunshine or in driving rain,

Through every season, every deed—

Your love is all I need.


Not silver, gold, or earthly things,

Not power, fame, what success brings,

Not any treasure I could plead—

Your love is all I need.


For love that held me from the start,

That knew my name and knew my heart,

That gave itself to set me free—

Your love is all I need.


So let the world fall where it may,

Let night give way to brightest day,

Scripture for His All-Sufficient Love


Nothing More Precious:


"Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you." (Psalm 63:3)


God Is Love:


"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." (1 John 4:8)


Love That Surpasses Knowledge:


"And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3:19, ESV)


Content in All Circumstances:


"I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances." (Philippians 4:11) — for Christ's love is the source of that contentment.


Nothing Can Separate Us:


"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)


His Grace Is Sufficient:

The Lord Is My Portion:


"I say to myself, 'The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.'" (Lamentations 3:24)

Love That Casts Out Fear:


"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." (1 John 4:18)
