Worthy of All Praise
Worthy of all praise—this is Your due,
Not just a portion, not just a few
Faltering words from a grateful heart,
But the whole of me, every single part.
You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power. (Revelation 4:11)
Worthy of all praise—the heavens declare it,
The stars in their courses rise up to bear it.
The sun in its splendor, the moon in its light,
Declare Your glory by day and by night.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. (Psalm 19:1)
Worthy of all praise—the cross has proven,
The empty tomb has surely woven
A story of love that cannot be told
In its fullness, though my heart grows bold
To try to capture even a thread
Of the beauty of the One who bled
And rose again to set me free—
Worthy of all praise is He.
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise. (Revelation 5:12)
Worthy of all praise—not just my song,
But my whole life, all day long.
My hands, my feet, my voice, my time,
My heart, my will, my every dime—
Let them all be used to raise
A life that shouts, "Worthy of praise!"
Worthy of all praise—the angels cry,
"Holy, holy, holy," filling the sky.
The elders cast their crowns before
The One who lives forevermore.
And I, though small, though weak, though frail,
Add my voice to that holy trail
Of worship rising without end
To the King who calls me more than friend.
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." (Revelation 4:8)
So let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Let it rise from the valley, let it shout from the ford.
Let it echo from mountains, let it whisper in plains,
Let it sing through the joy and cry through the pains.
For worthy, yes worthy, yes worthy is He—
The Lamb who was slain, who has now set me free.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! (Psalm 150:6)
Worthy of all praise—now and forever,
This truth will my spirit gladly endeavor
To live and to breathe, to speak and to sing,
To my glorious Savior, my Lord, my King.
Worthy. Yes, worthy. Forever worthy.
All praise to the Lamb.
Amen.
