Bring me to Eternal Inheritance.

Here is a poem of hope and a collection of scriptures concerning the eternal inheritance promised to those who love Him.

The Inheritance That Never Fades

Bless me, Lord, not with silver or gold,

Not with treasures that grow old.

Not with houses, land, or fame,

Not with glory in my name.

But bless me with the promise sealed,

The hope that cannot be revealed

By mortal eyes or human hands—

The inheritance that forever stands.

An inheritance that never fades,

Not dimmed by time or troubled shades.

Not stolen by the thief of night,

But kept in heaven, pure and bright.

Bless me with the eternal weight

Of glory that awaits the gate.

Where many mansions stand prepared,

And every tear is gently wiped and shared.

Bless me with the crown of life,

That waits beyond all earthly strife.

For those who love His appearing,

For those His voice are ever hearing.

Bless me with the homeland fair,

Where there is no more despair.

Where saints and angels sing His praise,

Through everlasting, endless days.

This is the blessing I implore—

Not just for now, but evermore.

An inheritance that will not perish,

Secured by love I cannot merit.

Scripture for Eternal Inheritance

Born Again to a Living Hope:

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time." (1 Peter 1:3-5)

Heirs with Christ:

"Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." (Romans 8:17)

The Promise of Eternal Life:

"And this is what he promised us—eternal life." (1 John 2:25)

The Spirit as a Deposit:

"When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory." (Ephesians 1:13-14)

Inheritance Among the Sanctified:

"To open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me." (Acts 26:18)

The Crown of Life:

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." (James 1:12)

An Eternal Kingdom:

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe." (Hebrews 12:28)

Mansions Prepared:

"My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:2-3)

No More Death or Pain:

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Revelation 21:4)

The Righteous Shall Shine:

"Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear." (Matthew 13:43)

An Eternal Weight of Glory:

"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)

The Gift of God:

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
