 A Blessing for Your Mercy Journey

May the mercy of the Lord go before you on this path.

Not a mercy you have earned, but one that flows from grace,

That meets you in the morning and kisses your tired face.

A mercy that is new with every rising of the sun,

Declaring that the hardest parts of life are not yet done.

Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

May mercy walk beside you through every valley deep,

Where shadows fall and promises are hard to keep.

May it whisper in the silence, "You are still my own,"

And be the quiet strength you lean on, though you walk alone.

May mercy go behind you, covering every trace

Of failure, shame, and misstep—erased by endless grace.

For the God who sees your journey knows the road is long and steep,

And His mercy is the garment that your wounded soul will keep.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life. (Psalm 23:6)

May mercy be your compass when the way ahead is blind,

When every signpost points to fear and peace is hard to find.

May it guide you not by your deserving, but by His faithful name,

And lead you step by step until you reach the Father's frame.

May mercy be your shelter in the storms that you will face,

A covering of kindness, a stronghold and a place

Where you can rest your weary head and know that you are held,

By hands that were pierced open when all other mercy failed.

Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

And when your journey ends at last, and you reach the final shore,

May mercy be the welcome that you've been waiting for.

May you hear the voice of Jesus say, as He opens wide the door:

"Come in, beloved child of mine. I've saved a place for you—and more:

My mercy has been waiting here to hold you evermore."

Go in peace. Walk in mercy.
