I Worship You, Mighty God
I worship You, Mighty God—not with reluctant, hesitant praise,
But with all my heart, with all my soul, through all my nights and days.
You are the One whose voice thundered and the seas obeyed,
Whose whisper calms the tempest, whose word the mountains swayed.
For You are great and do marvelous deeds; You alone are God. (Psalm 86:10)
I worship You, Mighty God—the strength that never tires,
The fire that consumed the sacrifice when Elijah's faith aspired.
You are the God who parts the sea, who shatters every chain,
Who breathes life into dry bones and makes them live again.
I worship You, Mighty God—yet tender is Your hand,
That holds the fragile sparrow and helps this weak man stand.
You are the Lion and the Lamb, the Warrior and the Friend,
The Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom. (Psalm 145:3)
I worship You, Mighty God—in the sanctuary's holy space,
In the quiet of the morning, in the challenges I face.
I lift my hands in honor, I bow my heart in awe,
For there is none like You, O Lord, no rival have I saw.
I worship You, Mighty God—Creator of the skies,
Who paints the sunset's glory and hears the humble cries.
You measured waters in Your hand, weighed mountains on a scale,
Yet stoop to hear my whispered prayers when my own strength fails.
Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, or with the breadth of His hand marked off the heavens? (Isaiah 40:12)
I worship You, Mighty God—for who You are, not just what You give.
For in Your presence, I have found the reason I can live.
Your power is my shelter, Your majesty my peace,
Your greatness is the anchor that makes my fears decrease.
I worship You, Mighty God—with every breath I take,
With every step I walk, with every choice I make.
Let my life be an offering, a fragrance sweet and true,
A continuous worship, mighty God, of none but You.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)
So here I am, before Your throne, with nothing left to hide.
Receive my worship, Mighty God—let it be purified.
For You alone are worthy of the highest praise I bring.
I worship You, I worship You, my Savior and my King.
Amen.
