I will rise like the eagles.

Here is a poetic declaration and a collection of scriptures for the one who trusts in God's renewing strength.

On Wings of Faith

When my strength is spent and my hope is thin,

When the weight of the world has worn me thin,

I will wait on the Lord, my King,

And I will rise on eagle's wings.

Above the storm, above the pain,

Above the doubt like falling rain,

I will soar on currents strong and true,

For the God who made the eagles, makes me new.

I will rise, though my youth may fade,

Though battles rage and plans are unmade,

For those who hope in Him receive

A strength beyond what they believe.

I will rise, not on my own power,

But on the grace of every hour,

Lifted up by hands unseen,

Carried where I have not been.

I will rise like the eagle, strong and free,

For the Lord Most High has lifted me.
