Faithful Through It All

When I am faithless, You are true,

When I forget, You carry through.

When I wander far from home,

You never leave me on my own.

You are faithful to me, Lord,

Faithful to Your every word.

Not one promise has returned void,

In Your faithfulness I find my joy.

In the morning when I rise,

Your mercies greet my weary eyes.

New every morning, fresh and true,

Your faithfulness is ever new.

In the night when I cannot sleep,

Your watchful eye continues to keep

Your hand upon my restless soul,

Making my broken spirit whole.

When I doubted, when I strayed,

When I feared and was afraid,

You remained, You did not move,

Your faithful heart still proved Your love.

You are faithful to me, Lord,

Not because I've earned my reward,

But because Your name is Faithful and True,

And all You are, I find in You.

So I will trust You all my days,

And walk in Your faithful, loving ways.

For You are good, and You are kind,

And faithful always, Lord, I find.

Scripture for His Faithfulness

Great Is Your Faithfulness:

"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23)

God Is Faithful:

"God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." (1 Corinthians 1:9)

He Will Not Let You Be Tempted Beyond What You Can Bear:

"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Faithful to Forgive:

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

The Faithful God:

His Faithfulness Reaches to the Skies:

"Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies." (Psalm 36:5)

He Will Strengthen and Guard:

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one." (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

Forever Faithful:

"I will sing of the Lord's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations." (Psalm 89:1)

Faithful in All He Does:

He Will Do It:

"The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it." (1 Thessalonians 5:24)

Faithful and True:

"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True." (Revelation 19:11) — speaking of Jesus.

Anchor for the Soul:

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." (Hebrews 6:19) — because He who promised is faithful.
