You see me through every season.

 Here is a poem of trust and a collection of scriptures celebrating God's faithful presence through every changing season of life.

Through Every Season


In the springtime of my youth,

When everything was fresh and new,

You saw me with Your tender eyes,

And planted seeds of truth.


In the summer of my striving,

When days were long and hard,

You saw me through the burning sun,

And remained my safe guard.


In the autumn of my harvest,

When fruits of labor came,

You saw me in my thankfulness,

And blessed me just the same.


In the winter of my sorrow,

When joy seemed far away,

You saw me through the barren cold,

And promised a new day.


You see me through every season,

Through every change and turn.

In every loss, in every gain,

Your faithfulness I learn.


When I cannot see the path ahead,

When the way is dark and steep,

You see me, Lord, and hold me fast,

Your watchful eye will keep.


Through every season of my life,

Through sun and rain and snow,

You see me through, You carry me,

And never let me go.

Scripture for Every Season


A Time for Everything:


"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." (Ecclesiastes 3:1)


I Am with You Always:


"And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:20) — through every season.


The Lord Watches Over You:


"The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night." (Psalm 121:5-6)


From Everlasting to Everlasting:


"Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God." (Psalm 90:2)


He Knows Your Ways:


"You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways." (Psalm 139:1-3)


Seasons Change, He Does Not:


"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:8)


The Faithful God:


"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments." (Deuteronomy 7:9)


He Will Sustain You:


"Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." (Isaiah 46:4)


Through Fire and Water:


"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." (Isaiah 43:2)


New Every Morning:


"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23)


He Holds Your Hand:


"For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)


The Lord is My Shepherd:


"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul." (Psalm 23:1-3)


He Will Perfect That Which Concerns Me:


"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands." (Psalm 138:8, NKJV)


Content in Every Season:


"I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:11-13)
