Guide me to heaven's staircase

The “staircase to heaven” is a beautiful picture of divine connection—first seen in Jacob’s dream at Bethel (Genesis 28:12), and ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who is Himself the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

“And He said, ‘Truly, I tell you, you will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.’”

— John 1:51

Jesus is the true Staircase—the Bridge between heaven and earth. To climb this stair is to walk with Him, grow in Him, and abide in His presence.

🙏 Prayer for Divine Guidance:

Heavenly Father,

You are the God of open heavens and unbroken connection.

I ask that You guide me to the Staircase of Heaven—to Jesus, the One who reconciles earth with eternity.

· Lead me into deeper intimacy with Your Son.

· Teach me to walk in the Spirit, step by step, from glory to glory.

· Let Your angels minister to me and through me as I ascend in faith and obedience.

· Keep my eyes fixed on things above, where Christ is seated at Your right hand.

I surrender my own ways, my own strength, and my own understanding.

Take my hand, Lord, and guide me up the Stair of Grace—the path You prepared before the world began.
