Your Presence is all I prayed for.

This simple, powerful statement is the heart of true faith and contentment—the realization that in His presence is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11).

Here is a prayer and declaration in response.

Your Presence Is All I Need

In the quiet and the chaos, Lord,

This is the truth my heart has stored:

Amid the noise, the rush, the race,

There is one necessary place.

Your presence is all I need.

Not the answers to my "why,"

Not just a blessing from on high.

Not merely healing,nor a sign,

But just to know that You are mine,

And I am Yours, and in this bond,

All other comforts lie beyond.

Your presence is my perfect peace,

When all my strivings, they must cease.

It is my light in darkest night,

My only and my truest sight.

It is my shelter from the storm,

A refuge,safe, and ever-warm.

When I am weak, Your presence is my power.

When I am lonely,You're my tower.

When I am lost,You are my way.

My dawn of hope,my brightest day.

"My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." (Exodus 33:14)

So take the wealth, take the fame,

Take every other earthly name.

Let every other comfort flee,

If I may only have but Thee.

For in Your gaze, I am complete,

My victory is in defeat.

For when I have nothing but You,

I have everything,fresh and new.

Your presence is all I need.

It is my portion and my prize.

The eternal glory in my eyes.

Amen.

A Prayer to Abide:

"Lord Jesus, I confess that I often seek solutions more than I seek You. I seek comfort more than I seek Your companionship. Forgive me.

Right now, I turn my heart's attention to You. I still my soul before You. Your presence is the greatest gift, the deepest peace, and the most profound answer to every need I will ever have.

Whether in joy or sorrow, in plenty or in want, let this be the settled conviction of my heart: that with You, I have all I need.

Thank you for Your promise to never leave me nor forsake me. I rest in Your presence now.

Amen."
