The chain of guilt,the chain of shame,

The chain of fear that holds you tight,

And steals your sleep throughout the night.

You tug and pull with all your might,

But cannot win this lonely fight.

The lock is strong,the metal old,

A story of a heart grown cold.

But then a word, a truth, a sound,

Where true deliverance is found:

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”(John 8:32)
