Yes — He is merciful and gracious. These are not just attributes of God — they are the very essence of how He relates to us: with compassion that withholds what we deserve, and grace that gives us what we could never earn.

A Prayer of Gratitude for His Mercy and Grace:

Merciful and Gracious Father,

You do not treat me as my sins deserve.

Instead, You surround me with compassion,

cover me with kindness,

and invite me into Your presence.

· Your mercy meets me in my failure.

· Your grace lifts me in my weakness.

· Your patience corrects me without condemnation.

· Your love never lets me go.

I do not deserve Your goodness —

but I receive it with a humble and thankful heart.
