My own hands are tired from holding on,

From fighting battles,from dusk till dawn.

My own plans have faltered,my strength is spent,

My own will has left me tired and bent.

So now, with a breath of faith and release,

I lay down my weapons,I seek Your peace.

I open my hands,I let it all fall—

My past,my future, my pride, my all.

I surrender my life to Your loving arms.

I am no longer my own.

I am Yours.

Yours to hold.

Yours to mold.

Yours to lead.

Yours to keep.

I surrender my fears to Your perfect love.

I surrender my failures to Your cleansing blood.

I rest here now. I am safe. I am held.

These arms were stretched out on a cross for me.

They are strong enough to hold the universe,

And gentle enough to wipe away my tears.
