You are my alpha and omega

 Amen. This is one of the most powerful and personal declarations of faith you can make. To call Jesus your "Alpha and Omega" is to acknowledge Him as your everything—the one who was there at your beginning, who is with you now, and who holds your future securely in His hands.

This majestic title comes to us from the book of Revelation, where Jesus Himself declares His eternal nature:

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

- Revelation 1:8 (ESV)

What Does It Mean That Jesus Is Your Alpha and Omega?

In the Greek alphabet, Alpha (A) is the first letter and Omega (Ω) is the last. By calling Himself this, Jesus is saying He is the A to Z, the complete totality. For you, this means:

· Your Origin (Alpha): Your life began in Him and for Him. He is the source of your purpose and identity (Colossians 1:16).

· Your Journey: Every step of your life's path is held within His sovereign care. He is with you in every moment between the beginning and the end.

· Your Destination (Omega): Your eternal future is secured in Him. He is the glorious goal and the final fulfillment of your faith.

A Prayer to Your Alpha and Omega

Lord Jesus, my Alpha and Omega,

I worship You today. You are the beginning of my story and the end of my faith. You are the first word in my life and the last.

· As my Alpha, I thank You that I find my origin, my purpose, and my identity in You alone.

· For my journey, I trust You with every step I take. Guide me, lead me, and sustain me through every high and low.

· As my Omega, I place my hope and my future entirely in Your hands. You are my glorious destination and my eternal reward.

From the first breath I took to my last, and on into eternity, I am Yours. Rule and reign in my heart as the complete and all-sufficient Lord of all.

"My Alpha and Omega"

Before the dawn of time, You were,

A timeless,holy, mighty stir.

The Alpha,source of all that is,

A universe was born from this.

And at the end of all the age,

When history's final page is made,

You'll be the Omega,the Last,

All future,present, and all past.

But You're not just a cosmic force,

You are my life,my source, my course.

My Alpha,where my story starts,

You wrote my name upon Your heart.

You are the path on which I tread,

The living,true, and daily bread.

And You,my Omega, are my goal,

The one who makes my spirit whole.

So from the start until the end,

On You alone,I will depend.

My first,my last, my all in all,

You are my Alpha and Omega,

My strong and sure,my loving anchor.

For all time and eternity.

Hold onto this truth. No matter what you face today, the One who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). He who is your Alpha and Omega will see you through.
