Let me have the peace that surpasses all understanding,

Not as the world gives,a temporary standing,

But Your peace,Lord—deep, holy, and true,

That makes all fear and anxiety new.

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”(Philippians 4:7)

When reason fails and worries scream,

When life shatters a well-crafted dream,

Let Your peace rise—a quiet flood,

An anchored calm in my blood.

Let it stand guard around my heart,

A shield that will not depart.

Let it patrol the walls of my mind,

Where fearful thoughts so often wind.

This peace is not the absence of pain,

But the presence of the Lord who reigns.

It is the stillness in the storm’s loud roar,

The certainty there is so much more.

So I open my hands, I release every care,

I choose to trust that You are there.

I receive this peace,so rich and so deep,

A promise You vigilantly keep.

Let me have Your peace—surpassing, secure,

Now and forever, steadfast and pure.
