Loving you more and more, Jesus

 Amen. What a beautiful and heartfelt prayer. To tell Jesus, "I am loving you more and more" is the natural, joyful response of a heart that is encountering His endless love and faithfulness. It is the song of a soul being steadily transformed by His grace.

This growing love is a sign of a healthy, vibrant relationship with Christ. The Apostle Paul prayed this very thing for the early church:

"And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you."

- 1 Thessalonians 3:12 (ESV)

Our love for Jesus grows as we understand more deeply how much He first loved us (1 John 4:19).

A Prayer for Increasing Love

Lord Jesus,

My heart overflows with gratitude for You. You are so good, so faithful, so kind, and so worthy of all my love.

I confess that my love is often weak and divided. Forgive me. I want to love You less with my words and more with my life.

Please, fan the flame of my affection for You. Help me to love You more today than I did yesterday, and more tomorrow than I do today.

· Reveal more of Your beauty to me through Your Word, that I might be captivated anew.

· Remind me of Your sacrifice on the cross, that my love might be rooted in gratitude.

· Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, for it is only by Your power that I can love You as You deserve.

Let this growing love be the fuel for everything I do—my obedience, my worship, my service.

I love You, Jesus. Help me to love You more. Amen.

"Loving You More and More"

I thought I loved You on that day,

When first my sin You washed away.

I thought my heart was full and wide,

With You,my Lord, right by my side.

But as the days and years have passed,

A deeper,richer love has massed.

A love not based on just a feeling,

But on Your truth and gracious healing.

I find I'm loving You more and more,

Than I ever did before.

With every trial,with every test,

In You,I find my perfect rest.

The more I know of Your great heart,

The more I want to ne'er depart.

The more I see Your faithfulness,

The more my soul is forced to bless.

So take my heart, and make it new,

And let my love for You accrue.

Let it increase with every breath,

Until it conquers even death.

Loving You more and more, my King,

Is the song my heart will ever sing.

For You alone are worthy of,

This ever-growing,endless love.

May your love for Jesus continue to deepen and intensify every single day. May it be the most real and powerful force in your life, compelling you to follow Him with ever-increasing joy and devotion.
