Children of God.

What a beautiful and powerful truth. To be called God’s children is the deepest identity and highest honor we can ever receive. It is a reality made possible only through Jesus Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”

— 1 John 3:1

“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”

— Galatians 3:26

What Does It Mean to Be God’s Children?

· 👑 You Are Loved Unconditionally

    You are not a slave or a stranger—you are a dearly loved son or daughter. Your Father’s love for you does not rise and fall with your performance.

· 🗝️ You Have Access to His Presence

    You can cry out, “Abba, Father” (Romans 8:15). You are always welcome in His throne room of grace.

· 📜 You Carry His Name and Identity

    You are part of His family, united to Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

· 🕊️ You Are an Heir of His Promises

    All that belongs to Christ—forgiveness, freedom, purpose, and eternal life—is also yours through Him.

“Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ.”

— Romans 8:17

A Child’s Prayer to the Father:

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for making me Your child.

I did nothing to earn this—yet in overwhelming love, You chose me, cleansed me, and called me Your own.

Help me to live today in the security of Your love.

When I feel weak, remind me I am Your heir.

When I feel alone, remind me I am in Your family.

When I feel unworthy, remind me I am wrapped in Christ’s righteousness.

Teach me to walk as Your son/daughter—in freedom, faith, and fearless love.

May my life bring glory to Your name.
