Bless me with Power, Love and a Sound Mind.

What Does It Mean to Be Blessed with These?

· Power (Dunamis): This is not worldly power, but divine, miracle-working ability. It is the spiritual strength to overcome sin, endure trials, and be an effective witness for Christ (Acts 1:8).

· Love (Agape): This is the unconditional, self-sacrificial love of God Himself. It is the ability to love the unlovely, forgive the unforgivable, and serve others with Christ's heart.

· Sound Mind (Sophronismos): This means a disciplined, self-controlled, and sober mind. It is a spirit of wisdom, clarity, and discernment that replaces confusion, anxiety, and fear.

A Prayer for Power, Love, and a Sound Mind

Heavenly Father,

I come to You in the name of Jesus, standing on Your promise. You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

I ask You now to bless me with these gifts.

· Bless me with YOUR power. When I am weak, be my strength. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I may live boldly for You, overcome every temptation, and do the works You have prepared for me.

· Bless me with YOUR love. Pour out Your love in my heart by the Holy Spirit. Let Your love flow through me to my family, my friends, my neighbors, and even my enemies. Let my actions and words be guided by this perfect love that casts out all fear.

· Bless me with a SOUND MIND. Guard my thoughts. When anxiety, confusion, or lies attack, grant me clarity, peace, and self-control. Help me to take every thought captive to obey Christ and to focus my mind on what is true, noble, and praiseworthy.

Thank you, Father, for these perfect gifts. I receive them by faith today.

The spirit God has given me,

Is not of fear,but liberty.

It is a threefold,holy cord,

A promise from my sovereign Lord.

He gives me power from heaven above,

Not of the flesh,but born of love.

The dynamite to break the chain,

To rise from failure,try again.

To stand for truth,to do what's right,

In His resurrection's might.

He gives me love, a sacred fire,

A pure and holy,strong desire.

To see as He sees,feel as He feels,

A love that conquers and that heals.

He gives a mind that's sound and clear,

To conquer every doubt and fear.

By the Spirit's wisdom taught.

So bless me, Lord, with this great three,
