Bless my night, Lord

May the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps watch over you and fill your night with His perfect peace.

Here is a prayer for His blessing on your night.

A Prayer for a Blessed Night

Lord, bless my night.

As the sun has set and day takes flight,

I surrender to the quiet of this night.

Wrap Your presence'round me like a shield,

A sacred peace upon this room now sealed.

"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." (Psalm 4:8)

Quiet the noises of the day now past,

The hurried thoughts and worries that last.

Let every anxious,restless thought take flight,

Replaced by whispers of Your love tonight.

Renew my body, restore my soul,

As night's dark,gentle waves now roll.

Grant me a deep and healing rest,

By Your tender care,completely blessed.

Guard my dreams, Lord, hold my mind,

Your perfect shalom let me find.

"He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber."(Psalm 121:3)

Let angels camp about this place,

As I rest in Your sustaining grace.

And when the morning light shall break,

With joy and purpose,let me wake.

Lord, bless my night.

Hold me in Your arms till dawn's first light.
