I lay my will down at Your feet,

My plans,my dreams, however sweet.

I loosen my grip on the pen of my life,

Have Your way in my life, Lord.

Not my way, for it is narrow and dim,

Your way,which makes all things new.

However You must,for Your glory, I pray.

Silence the voice of my stubborn pride,

I am Yours. The vessel is yielded.

A Prayer of Full Surrender:

"Heavenly Father,

This is the scariest and most freeing prayer I can pray. I confess that I often want to be in control. I trust my own plans more than Yours. Forgive me.

Right now, I consciously and willingly surrender my entire life to You. I give You my past, my present, and my future. I give You my relationships, my resources, my ambitions, and my fears.

Have Your way in me. Align my heart with Yours. Lead me down the path You have chosen for me, and give me the grace and courage to follow, even when I cannot see what's ahead.

I trust that Your way is perfect, Your thoughts are higher, and Your love for me is unfailing. I am no longer my own; I am Yours.

Do in me and through me whatever brings You the most glory.
