Bless Be the name of the Lord.

Amen. This is a declaration of praise that echoes through all of Scripture, from the prayer of Job in his suffering to the eternal song of the saints in Revelation. It blesses God not for what He gives, but for who He is—His holy name, His character, and His nature.

Here is a response of worship and adoration.

---

Blessed Be the Name of the Lord

Blessed be the name of the Lord,

The only,everlasting Word.

The First and Last, the Great I AM,

The spotless,sacrificial Lamb.

Blessed be the name of the Lord,

By every angel’s shout adored.

By every star that knows its place,

Reflecting but a shred of grace.

Blessed be Your name when sun shines bright,

And paths are bathed in golden light.

When joy runs deep and hopes come true,

My every blessing flows from You.

And blessed be Your name when darkness falls,

And my weary,trembling spirit calls.

When deserts stretch and hope seems lost,

You see the path and know the cost.

“The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.”(Job 1:21)

Blessed be the name, Jehovah-Jireh,

My Provider on the barren heights.

Blessed be the name, Jehovah-Rapha,

My Healer in the darkest nights.

Blessed be the name, Jehovah-Shalom,

My perfect Peace when storms assail.

Blessed be the name, the Great I AM,

The God who will forever prevail.

Let every breath I have proclaim,

The beauty of Your holy name.

Let every heart its worship bring,

To You,the everlasting King.

Blessed be the name of the Lord,

Be praised on earth,by heaven adored.

From rising sun to its final rest,

Blessed be His name, forever blessed.

“Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.”

—Psalm 103:1
