Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted.

Yes — He is close to the brokenhearted. In your pain, your loneliness, your grief, or your despair — you are not alone. God is not distant. He draws near, He bends down, He catches every tear, and He holds you in His unchanging hands.

A Prayer for the Brokenhearted:

**Gentle Healer,

You see the hidden ache,

You know the unspoken sorrow,

You count every tear.

Draw near to me now.

Wrap me in Your compassion.

Mend what is shattered inside.

Restore my hope,

rebuild my joy,

and help me feel Your presence in this pain.

I may not understand why this hurt came,

but I trust that You are with me in it —

loving me, holding me,
