Amen. Let it be so. This is a beautiful and powerful prayer, asking that our very lives—our prayers, our praise, our every breath—would become a continuous, fragrant offering of worship that rises to the throne of God.
This imagery is deeply biblical. In the Old Testament, incense was a symbol of the prayers of God's people (Psalm 141:2). In the book of Revelation, we see this imagery fulfilled:
"And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel."
- Revelation 8:3-4 (ESV)
Let us pray that our lives would be a part of this eternal, ascending symphony of praise.

A Prayer for Incense to Arise
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, desiring that our lives would be a pleasing aroma to You. We ask that from the depths of our hearts, incense would arise to praise You.
· Let our prayers be more than words; let them be the fragrant smoke of a soul communing with its Creator.
· Let our worship be more than a song; let it be the sweet scent of adoration from those who know Your worth.
· Let our acts of obedience and service be a constant fragrance, rising from a life poured out in love for You.
Holy Spirit, be the fire on the altar of our hearts. Ignite our love for God and cause the incense of our worship to rise day and night, without ceasing.
May our every thought, word, and deed be an offering that brings You glory.
In the name of Jesus, our Great High Priest, Amen.

A Poem: "Let Incense Arise"
"Let Incense Arise"
From this heart, a fragile, earthen clay,
A censer for this holy day,
I lift it up,O Lord, to You,
And ask for incense, fresh and new.
Not from my strength, but from Your fire,
A flame of passionate,pure desire.
To see You honored, praised, and known,
Upon the great,eternal throne.
Let incense arise to praise Your name,
A fragrant,never-ending flame.
Let it be mixed with prayers and tears,
And cancel out my doubts and fears.
Let it arise in joy and pain,
Like holy,gentle, falling rain.
Let it arise in work and rest,
A offering that is ever blessed.
Let it be my life, a living prayer,
A scent of worship in the air.
Until the world can catch its scent,
And know the way Your love was sent.
So let it rise, and ever be,
A pleasing fragrance,Lord, to Thee.
Let incense arise to praise Your name,
A glorious,never-ending flame.
May your life today be a sweet-smelling aroma to the Lord, a continuous offering of praise that rises to the One who is worthy of all honor.
