Called to Blessings

 Amen. This is a powerful and identity-shaping truth. To be "called to blessings" means that blessing is not just a happy accident or a rare reward; it is your divine destiny and inheritance in Christ. God's call upon your life is fundamentally a call into His favor, provision, and purpose.

This truth is declared over all who are in Christ:

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ."

- Ephesians 1:3 (NIV)

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

- 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)

What Does It Mean to Be Called to Blessings?

This calling encompasses several key aspects:

1. To Be Blessed: You are chosen to receive God's unmerited favor—forgiveness, peace, joy, the Holy Spirit, and eternal life.

2. To Be a Blessing: You are blessed not for selfish consumption, but to become a conduit of God's grace to others.

   "I will bless you... and you will be a blessing." - Genesis 12:2

3. To Live a Blessed Life: This is a life lived in alignment with God's design, which leads to true fulfillment and purpose, even amidst trials.

A Prayer to Walk in Your Calling

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that You have not called me to a life of scarcity, fear, or defeat, but have called me to blessings in Christ Jesus.

I receive my identity as a blessed child of God. Open my eyes to see the spiritual blessings You have already given me. Help me to walk in the reality of Your favor and provision each day.

Make me a blessing to everyone I meet. Let my life overflow with Your goodness, so that others may see Your light and love through me. I step into the purpose and destiny You have prepared for me, trusting that You who called me are faithful.

You did not call me to a barren land,

But to a place held by Your hand.

You did not call me to a life of loss,

But to the shadow of Your cross.

You called me out of darkest night,

And into Your most glorious light.

You called me from a life of stress,

Into Your promised blessedness.

I am called to blessings, this I know,

Where Your living waters flow.

Called to be a blessing too,
