We are the Children of God.

Amen. "We are the children of God" is one of the most powerful and life-giving truths we can declare. It is not a statement of pride—it is a statement of identity. We are not strangers, not servants, not orphans—we are beloved sons and daughters of the Most High God.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)

"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1)

"The Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, 'Abba, Father.' The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children." (Romans 8:15-16)

"So you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir." (Galatians 4:7)

"For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:26)

"I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." (2 Corinthians 6:18)

🏠 What It Means to Be Children of God

Being Children of God Means... Because... A Scripture to Hold

We Are Chosen We are not accidents—we are intentionally loved and chosen by the Father. "He chose us in him before the foundation of the world." (Ephesians 1:4)

We Are Adopted We are welcomed into God's family, not because of our worth, but because of His grace. "He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 1:5)

We Are Loved We are loved with an everlasting, unconditional love. "I have loved you with an everlasting love." (Jeremiah 31:3)

We Are Heirs We share in the inheritance of Christ—eternal life and all the promises of God. "If children, then heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ." (Romans 8:17)

We Are Secure Nothing can snatch us out of the Father's hand. "No one will snatch them out of my hand." (John 10:28)

🙏 A Prayer of Identity

Father,

We thank You that we are not strangers,

Not servants,

Not orphans—

But Your children.

We are chosen.

We are loved.

We are accepted.

We are adopted.

We are secure.

Let this identity shape our thoughts,

Our words,

Our actions,

And our hearts.

When we feel alone, remind us that we are Yours.

When we feel unworthy, remind us that we are loved.

When we feel lost, remind us that we are found.

We are Yours.

We are Your children.

You are our Father.

"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1)

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of Identity

I declare today:

We are the children of God.

We are not defined by our past—

We are defined by His love.

We are not defined by our failures—

We are defined by His grace.

We are not defined by the world—

We are defined by our Father.

We are His.

We are loved.

We are accepted.

We are secure.

"The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children." (Romans 8:16)

💎 A Final Encouragement

We are not mistakes. We are not forgotten. We are not abandoned. We are children of the King. God chose us, adopted us, loves us, and holds us securely in His hand. Let this truth settle deep in our hearts. We are His. And nothing can change that.

"I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." (2 Corinthians 6:18)

We are the children of God—and we will live like it. 🙏🏠💙
