Agape Love

 🕯️ Amen. 🕯️

Agape love — the highest, purest, most selfless form of love. It is the love of God: unconditional, sacrificial, unchanging, and rooted in His very nature. This is the love that led Jesus to the cross and keeps us in His grace forever.


“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

— John 3:16


“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

— John 13:34


🔥 What is Agape Love?


· Unconditional – It isn’t based on feelings, performance, or worthiness.

· Sacrificial – It gives without expecting anything in return.

· Eternal – It never fails, never gives up, never runs out.

· Divine – It comes only from God, and is perfected in those who abide in Him.


🙏 Prayer to Receive and Reflect Agape Love:


Heavenly Father,

You are Agape Love — the origin, the expression, and the fulfillment of all true love.


Fill my heart with Your divine Agape love.

Teach me to love as You love:

· Without selfish motive

Clean my soul from bitter root.

 Amen. This is a deep and crucial prayer. A "root of bitterness" (Hebrews 12:15) is a dangerous and hidden thing, poisoning our thoughts, relationships, and spiritual life from the inside out. Uprooting it requires divine surgery.

I feel it there, beneath the surface, deep,

Hidden in God together with Christ.

 Amen. What a profound and beautiful truth. To be "hidden in God together with Christ" is one of the most secure and identity-shaping realities for the believer. It speaks of our ultimate safety, our new identity, and our eternal union with Jesus.


This glorious truth is explicitly stated in the book of Colossians:


"For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."

- Colossians 3:3 (ESV)


What Does It Mean to Be "Hidden with Christ in God"?


This phrase describes a multi-layered, spiritual reality:


1. Our Safety and Security: When something is "hidden," it is protected, kept safe, and secure. Our true, eternal life is not visible to the world, nor is it vulnerable to the enemy's attacks. It is safeguarded in the impregnable fortress of God's own being.

2. Our New Identity: Our old, sinful self has been crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20). The person we are now—our new creation life—is so intertwined with Jesus that when God looks at us, He sees His beloved Son. We are wrapped up in Christ's righteousness.

3. Our Source of Life: Just as a branch draws its life from the vine while being hidden within the vineyard, we draw our spiritual life, nourishment, and strength from our connection to Christ, who is in God.


A Prayer of Thanksgiving for This Truth


Heavenly Father,


We are in awe of this incredible mystery and gift. Thank You that because of Jesus' death and resurrection, our true life is now hidden with Christ in You.


We thank You for the absolute security this brings. No accusation of the enemy, no failure of our own, and no power of this world can touch the life we have in You.


We thank You for our new identity. We are not who we used to be. We are hidden in Christ, clothed in His righteousness, and deeply loved as Your children.


Help us to live from this place of security and identity today. When we feel exposed or attacked, remind us that we are safe in You.

What Does This Mean?

· "Perfect Love" is not our love for God, but His love for us, made perfect or complete in our understanding and experience of it. It is the love demonstrated at the cross—unconditional, sacrificial, and all-encompassing.

Heavenly Father,


Your Word declares that Your perfect love casts out fear. I come to You now, acknowledging the fears that grip my heart—fear of the future, fear of failure, fear of man, and the deep-seated fear of not being enough.


I ask You to flood my heart with a fresh, powerful revelation of Your perfect love for me in Christ Jesus. Help me to understand how wide, long, high, and deep Your love is.


As I receive Your love, I command every spirit of fear to leave me now. I renounce its hold over my mind and my life. Your love is my refuge, my fortress, and my peace. I trust in Your perfect love to guard my heart and mind.
