You are my hope.

 Amen. "You are my hope."

This is one of the most powerful anchors for the human soul. Hope is not just wishful thinking or blind optimism. In the Bible, hope is a confident expectation—a sure foundation that keeps you standing when everything around you is shaking. And when your hope is in Jesus, it is an unshakable, living hope that will never disappoint you.

"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith], so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises." — Romans 15:13 (AMP)

The Scripture That Declares Him as Your Hope:

Psalm 71:5 (AMP) — "For You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my trust and the source of my confidence from my youth."

1 Timothy 1:1 (AMP) — "Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope."

Lamentations 3:24 (AMP) — "'The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,' says my soul; 'Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.'"

Psalm 39:7 (AMP) — "And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You."

1 Peter 1:3 (AMP) — "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."

What It Means That Jesus Is Your Hope:

· He is a living hope. The hope you have in Jesus is not a dead religion or a distant philosophy. It is alive because He is alive. The empty tomb is the guarantee that your hope is not in vain.

· He is a confident expectation. You are not hoping that He might come through. You are hoping because you know He will. His character is your guarantee.

· He is your anchor in the storm. When the waves of trouble crash against your life, hope in Jesus keeps you from drifting away.

· He never disappoints. The world will let you down. People will fail you. Circumstances will change. But the God of hope will never leave you empty.

A Prayer of Hope:

"Lord Jesus,

You are my hope.

When the future looks uncertain, You are my hope.

When the present feels overwhelming, You are my hope.

When the past tries to haunt me, You are my hope.

When my strength runs out, You are my hope.

When my plans fall apart, You are my hope.

I do not put my hope in money.

I do not put my hope in people.

I do not put my hope in my own abilities.

I put my hope in You.

And You never fail.

You are the God of hope.

Fill me with all joy and peace in believing.

Let me abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let my heart overflow with confidence in Your promises.

You are my living hope.

And because You live, my hope is secure.

I will not be disappointed.

I will not be abandoned.

I will not lose heart.

Because my hope is in the One who holds the universe.

And He is holding me.

You are my hope, Lord.

Today, tomorrow, and forever.

In Your name,

Amen."

A Blessing of Hope:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him. May your hope overflow like a river, even in the driest seasons of life. May you wake up every morning with confidence in His promises and rest every night with assurance in His love. And may you know—deep in your soul—that the One who holds your tomorrow is the same One who holds your hand today.

"You are my hope."

He is.

He always will be.

And your hope in Him will never be disappointed.

Amen.
