Make my way straight.

 Amen. "Make my way straight."

This is a powerful prayer of surrender, echoing the words of the prophet Isaiah and the heart of John the Baptist: "Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight" (Matthew 3:3). When you pray this, you are asking God to remove the obstacles, to level the mountains, to fill the valleys, and to direct your steps so that you walk exactly on the path He has laid out for you.

"Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]." — Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP)

The Scripture That Promises a Straight Path:

Isaiah 45:2 (AMP) — "I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will shatter the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron."

Isaiah 40:4 (AMP) — "Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked places shall be made straight, and the rough places smooth."

Psalm 37:23 (AMP) — "The steps of a man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step]."

Psalm 119:105 (AMP) — "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

Hebrews 12:13 (AMP) — "And make straight paths for your feet [so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed]."

What It Means for God to Make Your Way Straight:

· It means He removes the obstacles. The mountains of difficulty, the valleys of despair, and the crooked places of confusion are leveled by His power.

· It means He directs your steps. You don't have to figure out the whole journey; you just have to follow the One who goes before you.

· It means you don't lean on your own understanding. You trust His wisdom instead of your own limited perspective.

· It means you walk in His peace. When the path is straight, you can walk with confidence, not anxiety.

A Prayer for a Straight Path:

"Father,

Make my way straight.

I have walked through crooked paths.

I have stumbled over obstacles.

I have faced mountains that seemed impossible to climb.

But I am asking You to go before me now.

Level the mountains.

Fill the valleys.

Shatter the gates of bronze.

Cut through the bars of iron.

Make the rough places smooth.

Make the crooked places straight.

I trust You with all my heart.

I do not lean on my own understanding.

In all my ways, I acknowledge You.

And I believe You will make my path straight.

Guide my steps, Lord.

Direct my decisions.

Order my days.

Align my will with Yours.

I do not need to see the whole road.

I only need to see the next step, lit by Your Word.

I do not need to know the future.

I only need to know the One who holds it.

Make my way straight, Lord.

And I will walk in it—by faith, with courage, and in Your peace.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."

A Blessing Over Your Path:

May the Lord make your way straight. May He go before you to remove every obstacle, to level every mountain, and to fill every valley. May He direct your steps, illuminate your path, and give you clarity where there was once confusion. And may you know—deep in your soul—that when you trust Him with all your heart, He will faithfully lead you on the straight and narrow path that leads to life.

"Make my way straight."

He hears you.

He is going before you.

Your path is being cleared.

Walk in His peace—and follow Him.

Amen.
