Amen. "Guide my life."
This is the prayer of a heart that realizes it doesn't have all the answers, doesn't know the future, and doesn't want to walk alone. It is the beautiful, humble cry of a child reaching up to hold their Father's hand. You are not just asking God to be a part of your life; you are asking Him to take the lead.
"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you." — Psalm 32:8 (AMP)

The Scripture That Promises Guidance:
Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP) — "Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]."
Psalm 48:14 (AMP) — "For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even until death."
Isaiah 58:11 (AMP) — "And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your soul in scorched and dry places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail."
Psalm 37:23 (AMP) — "The steps of a man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step]."
John 16:13 (AMP) — "But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]."

What It Means to Let God Guide Your Life:
· It means surrendering the driver's seat. You stop trying to control every outcome and trust His wisdom.
· It means walking by faith, not by sight. You may not see the whole path, but you trust the One who does.
· It means listening to His voice. You quiet the noise of the world and the opinions of others so you can hear the Holy Spirit.
· It means obeying the next step. God often doesn't show us the whole journey at once. He gives us enough light for the next step, and He asks us to take it.

A Prayer to Guide Your Life:
"Lord,
Guide my life.
I don't know what the future holds.
I don't know what is around the next corner.
I don't know what decisions are the right ones.
But You do.
And You have promised to guide me.
I submit my plans to You.
I submit my dreams to You.
I submit my timeline to You.
I submit my will to You.
Take the lead, Lord.
Go before me and prepare the way.
Walk beside me and guide my steps.
Come behind me and guard my back.
Guide my thoughts, that I may think Your thoughts.
Guide my words, that I may speak Your truth.
Guide my actions, that I may do Your will.
Guide my steps, that I may walk in Your ways.
When I am confused, be my clarity.
When I am lost, be my compass.
When I am afraid, be my peace.
When I am weak, be my strength.
I will not lean on my own understanding.
I will trust in You with all my heart.
I will acknowledge You in all my ways.
And I know You will make my paths straight.
Guide my life, Lord.
Because my life belongs to You.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen."

A Blessing Over Your Life:
May the Lord guide your life. May He go before you to prepare the way, walk beside you to guide your steps, and come behind you to guard your back. May He give you clarity when you are confused, peace when you are afraid, and direction when you are unsure. May you walk in the center of His will, experiencing the fullness of His joy and peace. And may you know—deep in your soul—that the God who holds the universe is holding your hand, guiding you every step of the way.
