Lord, You are awesome.

 Amen! "Lord, You are awesome."

This is the pure, unadulterated cry of a heart that has caught a glimpse of His majesty. It is the response of the human soul when it realizes just how big, how powerful, how holy, and how loving our God truly is. He is not just "good" or "nice"—He is awesome. He is awe-inspiring, breath-taking, and utterly magnificent.

"O Lord, our Lord, How majestic and glorious and excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have displayed Your splendor above the heavens." — Psalm 8:1 (AMP)

A Prayer of Awe:

"Lord,

You are awesome.

Not just in the stories of old,

but in my life right now.

Not just in the heavens above,

but in the depths of my heart.

You are awesome in power—

You spoke the universe into existence.

You are awesome in majesty—

the heavens declare Your glory.

You are awesome in holiness—

the angels cry 'Holy, holy, holy' day and night.

You are awesome in love—

You sent Your Son to die for me.

You are awesome in mercy—

You forgive all my sins.

You are awesome in faithfulness—

You never leave me nor forsake me.

When I look at the mountains, I see Your handiwork.

When I look at the stars, I see Your fingerprints.

When I look at the cross, I see Your heart.

When I look at the empty tomb, I see Your victory.

I stand in awe of You.

I bow before You.

I lift my hands to You.

I lift my voice to You.

You are awesome, Lord.

And I will declare Your greatness—

today, tomorrow, and forever.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen."
