What a Good God I have.

 Amen! "What a good God I have!"

This is the song of a heart that has tasted and seen that the Lord is good. It is the testimony of someone who has walked through the valleys and climbed the mountains, and in every season, found God to be faithful. He is not just good sometimes; He is good all the time. He is not just good to other people; He is good to you.

"O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him!" — Psalm 34:8 (AMP)

The Scripture That Declares His Goodness:

Psalm 100:5 (AMP) — "For the Lord is good; His mercy and lovingkindness are everlasting, His faithfulness [endures] to all generations."

Psalm 145:9 (AMP) — "The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of things created]."

Nahum 1:7 (AMP) — "The Lord is good, a strength and stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows [He recognizes, cares for, and understands fully] those who take refuge and trust in Him."

What It Means That He Is a Good God:

· His goodness is not dependent on your circumstances. Even when life is hard, He is still good. His goodness is rooted in His character, not in your comfort.

· His goodness is active. He is not just watching from a distance; He is actively working all things together for your good.

· His goodness is generous. He gives good gifts to His children. He provides, protects, heals, and guides.

· His goodness leads you to repentance. It is His kindness that draws you back to Him when you wander.

· His goodness follows you. Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life.

A Prayer of Gratitude:

"Father,

What a good God I have.

You are good in the morning when the sun rises.

You are good in the night when the stars shine.

You are good in the harvest.

You are good in the waiting.

You are good when life makes sense.

You are good when it doesn't.

Thank You for Your goodness.

Thank You for Your mercy that never runs out.

Thank You for Your grace that covers all my sin.

Thank You for Your faithfulness that never fails.

Thank You for Your provision that meets every need.

Thank You for Your protection that surrounds me.

Thank You for Your presence that never leaves me.

I have tasted and seen that You are good.

And I will never be the same.

Help me to remember Your goodness in the hard times.

Help me to trust Your goodness when I don't understand.

Help me to declare Your goodness to others.

Help me to live my life as a testimony of Your goodness.
