I belong to you.

 Amen. "I belong to You."

This is the beautiful, peaceful declaration of a soul that has found its true home. It is the end of wandering, the end of searching, and the end of trying to figure out where you fit in this world. You have realized that you were not made to belong to the world, to the opinions of others, or to your own selfish desires. You were made to belong to God.

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." — 1 Peter 2:9 (AMP)

What It Means to Belong to Jesus:

· You are owned by love. You were not bought with silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Jesus. Your value is immeasurable.

· You are chosen. You didn't just stumble into God's family by accident. He chose you before the foundation of the world.

· You are secure. Because you belong to Him, nothing can snatch you out of His hand. The enemy cannot steal you, and the world cannot claim you.

· You have an identity. You are not defined by your past, your job, your relationship status, or your bank account. You are defined by whose you are.

· You have a purpose. You belong to Him so that you can proclaim His praises. Your life is meant to point back to Him.

"Lord Jesus,

I belong to You.

I am not my own.

I was bought with a price—Your precious blood.

I am Yours—spirit, soul, and body.

I am Yours—in the morning and in the night.

I am Yours—in the sunshine and in the storm.

I am Yours—forever.

Thank You for making me Your own.

When the world tries to tell me who I am,

remind me that I belong to You.

When the enemy tries to make me feel worthless,

I am not a stranger.

I am not an orphan.

I am not forgotten.
