Amen. "Knock and a door shall open."
This is the promise of divine access. It is the assurance that heaven is not a closed, locked fortress—it is a home with a Father who is already standing at the door, ready to open it when you knock. But this promise is not just about physical doors of opportunity; it is about the door of His presence, the door of His will, and the door of His heart.
"Knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on knocking, it will be opened." — Matthew 7:7-8 (AMP)

The Scripture That Promises Open Doors:
Revelation 3:8 (AMP) — "I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name."
Isaiah 22:22 (AMP) — "I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David; he will open, and no one will shut; and he will shut, and no one will open."
Acts 14:27 (AMP) — "They reported all that God had done with them, and how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles."
1 Corinthians 16:9 (AMP) — "A wide door for effective service has opened to me [in Ephesus], and there are many adversaries."
Colossians 4:3 (AMP) — "Pray at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word [of the gospel], so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ."

What It Means to Knock:
· Knocking requires action. You have to move toward the door. You have to reach out. Faith is not passive; it is active.
· Knocking requires persistence. Jesus said, "keep on knocking." Sometimes the door doesn't open on the first knock. Keep knocking. Keep praying. Keep believing.
· Knocking requires expectation. You don't knock on a door unless you expect someone to answer. You knock because you believe there is someone on the other side who cares.
· God is the Doorkeeper. He knows exactly which doors to open and which doors to keep shut. He will not open a door that leads to your harm, and He will not keep shut a door that leads to your destiny.

A Prayer for Open Doors:
"Lord Jesus,
I come to You and I knock.
I knock on the door of Your presence—
open it to me, Lord. Let me come in and sit with You.
I knock on the door of Your will—
open it to me, Lord. Show me the path You have prepared.
I knock on the door of Your provision—
open it to me, Lord. Supply every need according to Your riches in glory.
I knock on the door of Your healing—
open it to me, Lord. Touch my body and make me whole.
I knock on the door of opportunity—
open it to me, Lord. Give me favor and open doors that no one can shut.
I knock on the door of breakthrough—
open it to me, Lord. Shatter the barriers and bring me into a new season.
I will not stop knocking.
I will not give up.
I will not walk away.
I trust You to open the right doors, at the right time, for the right purpose.
And when You open a door, I will walk through it with faith, courage, and obedience.
You are the One who holds the keys.
You are the One who opens and no one can shut.
You are the One who goes before me and prepares the way.
Knock, and the door will be opened.
I believe it.
I receive it.
I walk through it.
In Jesus' name,
Amen."

A Blessing of Open Doors:
May the Lord open doors before you that no one can shut. May He close every door that is not from Him. May you walk through the doors He opens with confidence, wisdom, and peace. And may you know—when you knock, He answers. When you seek, He leads. When you trust, He opens the way.
"Knock and a door shall open."
He is opening it—even now.
Keep knocking.
Keep trusting.
Keep walking through.
Amen.
