Heal our Broken lives.

 Heal Our Broken Lives

A Reflection on Psalm 147:3, Isaiah 61:1, and 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Heal our broken lives, O Lord—the shattered dreams, the silent tears,

The wounds that no one sees, the pain accumulated through the years.

You are the Healer of the broken, the Mender of the crushed,

The One who binds our wounds and turns our sorrow into trust.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)

Broken lives—the fragments scattered on the floor,

The relationships that crumbled, the hope that seems no more.

The trust betrayed, the promises undone,

The battles lost, the races not yet run.

But You are the God who gathers, who picks up every piece,

Who restores what the enemy stole and brings us release.

You do not discard the shattered, You do not turn away,

You take the broken pieces and create a beautiful array.

“He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives.” (Isaiah 61:1)

Heal our minds—where anxious thoughts take flight,

Where fear and doubt have made their nest, where darkness steals the light.

Heal our hearts—the hidden scars, the grief that lingers still,

The shame that whispers we are not enough, the stubborn, bitter will.

Heal our spirits—the weary, worn, and dry,

Let the river of Your Spirit rise and make us new inside.

Let forgiveness flow like a healing stream,

Let hope be reborn, let us dare to dream.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

Heal our relationships—the bridges burned by pride,

Let love and understanding in our hearts abide.

Where there is broken trust, let truth restore,

Where there is distance, let Your love draw us once more.

Heal our broken lives—not just for our own sake,

But that we may become a comfort to others, for Your name's sake.

Let our scars be a testimony to Your healing grace,

And let us find our wholeness in Your warm embrace.

Heal us, Lord. We bring our brokenness to You.

You are the Potter, and we are the clay—make us new.

Heal our broken lives and make us whole,

Restore, renew, and refresh our soul.

Amen.
