God, You deserve all Glory.

 God, You Deserve All Glory

A Reflection on Revelation 4:11, Psalm 29:2, and 1 Chronicles 16:29

God, You deserve all glory—not a portion, not a part,

But the whole of every worship rising from the human heart.

For You alone are worthy—no rival, no compare,

No other name in heaven or earth Your majesty can share.

“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things.” (Revelation 4:11)

All glory—not just for the blessings that You give,

But for who You are: the reason that I live.

You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End,

The One who holds the universe, my Savior and my Friend.

You deserve all glory—for the cross, the empty grave,

For the life You freely gave, for the power to sin to save.

For the mercy every morning, for the grace that sees me through,

For the promise of Your presence—every word of it is true.

All glory—in the sanctuary and the street,

In the quiet of my closet, in the harvest and the heat.

Let every breath I take, every thought I think,

Every word I speak, every move I make,

Bring glory to Your name, not just in part,

But with my whole life, with all my heart.

Give unto the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. (Psalm 29:2)

You deserve all glory—not from a distance, not from fear,

But from a heart that knows You, that holds You near.

From the depths of my being, from the core of my soul,

I give You glory—You alone are whole.

So take my glory—not for show, but for the love I bear.

Not with eloquence or music, but with a life of prayer.

Let every thought and deed become a vessel of Your fame,

And let my only boasting be the glory of Your name.

Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come before Him. Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. (1 Chronicles 16:29)

You deserve all glory—now and evermore.

From the rising of the sun to the closing of the door.

You deserve it all. And I am Yours.

Amen.
