Lord, Thank you for loving us.

Amen. “Lord, thank You for loving us” is the sweetest and most profound gratitude a soul can offer—because everything we have, everything we are, and everything we hope to be flows from His love. Before we loved Him, He loved us. Before we knew Him, He knew us. Before we called on Him, He was already calling us His own.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” (Jeremiah 31:3)

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1)

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.” (1 John 4:9)

💖 What It Means That He Loves Us

His Love Is... Because... A Scripture to Hold

Unconditional He loves us not because we are perfect, but because He is love. “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

Everlasting His love has no beginning and no end. “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” (Jeremiah 31:3)

Lavish He pours out His love abundantly on His children. “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us.” (1 John 3:1)

Inseparable Nothing can separate us from His love. “Nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God.” (Romans 8:39)

Sacrificial He gave His only Son to save us. “He sent his one and only Son into the world.” (1 John 4:9)

Personal He knows us by name and calls us His own. “I have called you by name; you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)

🙏 A Prayer of Gratitude for His Love

Father,

Thank You for loving us.

Not because we are worthy,

But because You are gracious.

Not because we have earned it,

But because You are kind.

Not because we are perfect,

But because You are love.

You loved us before we knew You.

You loved us when we wandered.

You loved us when we failed.

You never stopped loving us.

Your love is our foundation.

Your love is our peace.

Your love is our hope.

Your love is our song.

Thank You for the cross.

Thank You for the blood.

Thank You for the sacrifice.

Thank You for the gift.

Thank You for loving us.

“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of His Love

I declare today:

The Lord loves us.

He has loved us with an everlasting love.

He has drawn us with unfailing kindness.

Nothing can separate us from His love.

No failure, no fear, no force.

No height, no depth, no power.

We are loved.

We are cherished.

We are His.

And we will never be the same.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1)

💎 A Final Encouragement

His love is not a reward for your performance—it is a gift you receive by faith. It is not a fleeting feeling—it is an eternal reality. It is not based on who you are—it is based on who He is. You are loved. You are cherished. You are His. Let that truth settle deep in your soul today. And let it overflow in gratitude, worship, and love for others.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)

Thank You for loving us, Lord—we are forever grateful. 🙏💙🕊️
