Lord, make me a new creation.

Amen. "Lord, make me a new creation."

This is one of the most powerful, life-changing prayers you can pray. It is a prayer for a complete transformation—not just a surface-level change, but a deep, radical renewal of your heart, your mind, and your spirit. And the beautiful truth is, when you come to Jesus, this is exactly what He does. He doesn't just patch up the old you; He makes you brand new.

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]." — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP)

The Scripture That Declares Your New Creation:

Ezekiel 36:26-27 (AMP) — "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My ordinances and do them."

Revelation 21:5 (AMP) — "And He who sits on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.' And He said, 'Write, for these words are faithful and true.'"

Isaiah 43:18-19 (AMP) — "'Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.'"

Ephesians 4:22-24 (AMP) — "Strip off your old self [completely discard your former nature], which is being corrupted through deceitful desires, and be continually renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude], and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature], created in God’s image [godlike], in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation]."

What It Means to Be a New Creation:

· The old has passed away. Your past is not just forgiven—it is gone. You are not defined by who you used to be.

· The new has come. You have a new nature, a new heart, and a new spirit. You are not a slave to sin anymore; you are a child of God.

· You are being transformed. Sanctification is a daily process. God is continually renewing your mind and shaping you into the image of His Son.

· You have a new purpose. You are no longer living for yourself, but for the One who died for you and rose again.

A Prayer to Be a New Creation:

"Lord Jesus,

Make me a new creation.

Take away my old heart of stone

and give me a heart of flesh that beats for You.

Take away my old nature

and clothe me in Your righteous nature.

Take away my old ways of thinking

and renew my mind with Your truth.

Take away my old desires

and replace them with a hunger and thirst for You.

I strip off the old self—

the pride, the fear, the bitterness, the sin, the shame.

I discard it completely.

And I put on the new self—

created in Your image, in righteousness and holiness.

Let the old things pass away.

Let the new things come.

Do a deep work in me, Lord.

Don't just fix the surface—transform the very core of who I am.

Make me a new creation.

A new vessel.

A new wineskin.

A new song.

I want to walk in newness of life.

I want to live as the person You created me to be.

I want to reflect Your glory to the world around me.

You are making all things new.

And I am one of those things.

Make me new, Lord.

Today, tomorrow, and every day of my life.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen."

A Blessing Over Your New Life:

May the Lord make you a new creation. May He give you a new heart, a new spirit, and a new mind. May He remove everything from your life that is old, dead, and broken, and replace it with His life, His joy, and His peace. May you walk in the beautiful, freeing reality that your past is gone and your future is secure in Him. And may you know—deep in your soul—that you are not who you used to be. You are brand new.

"Lord, make me a new creation."

He hears you.

He is doing a new thing.

It springs forth right now.

Step into your new life.

Amen.
