Bring me from darkness into light.

Amen. "Bring me from darkness into light" is a prayer that echoes the very heart of the gospel—the declaration that Jesus Christ came to rescue us from the domain of darkness and transfer us into the kingdom of light. It is not just a prayer for better circumstances; it is a prayer for a complete transformation of your life, your mind, and your destiny.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

"For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves." (Colossians 1:13)

"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned." (Isaiah 9:2)

"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12)

"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6)

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (1 Peter 2:9)

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1:5)

🙏 A Prayer to Be Brought from Darkness into Light

Father,

I come before You and ask:

Bring me from darkness into light.

Out of the shadows of fear,

Into the light of Your love.

Out of the shadows of doubt,

Into the light of Your truth.

Out of the shadows of shame,

Into the light of Your grace.

Out of the shadows of despair,

Into the light of Your hope.

You are the light of the world.

You have rescued me from the domain of darkness.

You have transferred me into the kingdom of Your beloved Son.

Let Your light shine in me.

Let Your light shine through me.

Let Your light dispel every shadow.

Let Your light guide every step.

I will not walk in darkness.

I will not be overcome by the shadows.

I will not be held by fear.

For You have called me out of darkness

Into Your wonderful light.

"For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves." (Colossians 1:13)

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of Light

I declare today:

I have been brought from darkness into light.

I am rescued.

I am transferred.

I am enlightened.

I am called.

I am no longer a child of darkness.

I am a child of light.

I am a reflection of His glory.

Every shadow must flee.

Every fear must go.

Every chain must be broken.

For the light of Christ is in me,

And the darkness cannot overcome it.

"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light." (Isaiah 9:2)

💎 A Final Encouragement

You are not who you used to be. You are not where you used to be. You have been brought out of darkness and into the light of Christ. The shadows of your past no longer have authority over you. The fear, the shame, the doubt—they must flee in the light of His presence. Walk in that light today. Let it fill you, guide you, and shine through you. You are a child of the light. And the darkness has not overcome it.
