Blotted out my transgressions and inequities.

Amen. “Blotted out my transgressions and iniquity” is one of the most powerful and liberating confessions a soul can make—a cry for the complete, total, and eternal forgiveness that only God can give. It is not a request for partial pardon or a temporary reprieve. It is a plea for the full erasure of every sin, every failure, every wrong—blotted out as though they never existed.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

“I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” (Isaiah 43:25)

“Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.” (Psalm 51:1)

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” (Ephesians 1:7)

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)

✨ What It Means That He Blots Out Your Transgressions

This Means... Because... A Scripture to Hold

Your Sins Are Erased God blots them out—they are gone. “I am he who blots out your transgressions.” (Isaiah 43:25)

Your Guilt Is Removed He does not hold your sins against you. “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions.” (Psalm 103:12)

Your Shame Is Lifted He remembers your sins no more. “I will remember your sins no more.” (Isaiah 43:25)

Your Record Is Cleared There is no condemnation for those in Christ. “There is now no condemnation.” (Romans 8:1)

You Are Made White as Snow He transforms scarlet sin into snow-white purity. “They shall be as white as snow.” (Isaiah 1:18)

You Are Forgiven He is faithful and just to forgive. “He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins.” (1 John 1:9)

🙏 A Prayer for Transgressions to Be Blotted Out

Father,

I come before You with a humble and repentant heart.

I confess my transgressions to You.

I confess my iniquity.

I do not hide my sin from You.

I do not excuse my failures.

I lay them all before You.

Blot out my transgressions.

Blot out my iniquity.

According to Your unfailing love,

According to Your great compassion,

Erase every wrong I have done.

Remove every stain of sin.

Wash me clean by the blood of Jesus.

Remember my sins no more.

I receive Your forgiveness.

I receive Your cleansing.

I receive Your grace.

Thank You that the blood of Jesus

Cleanses me from all sin.

Thank You that You remember my sins no more.

Thank You that I am justified freely by Your grace.

I am forgiven.

I am cleansed.

I am made white as snow.

“I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” (Isaiah 43:25)

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

I am not silenced by my shame.

For the blood of Jesus has set me free.

And I am clean.

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)
