Lord, Bless me as tree planted with streams of water.

 Amen. "Lord, bless me like a tree planted by streams of water."

This is one of the most beautiful, powerful, and stabilizing prayers in all of Scripture. It is the picture of a life that is deeply rooted, constantly nourished, and unshakably fruitful. A tree by the water doesn't panic when the heat comes, because its roots have found a source that never runs dry. That Source is Jesus, and the stream is the Holy Spirit.

"And he will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season; its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers." — Psalm 1:3 (AMP)

· You are not anxious in the drought. When seasons of lack, hardship, or heat come, you do not wither. Your leaves stay green because your source is underground.

· You bear fruit in season. You are productive for the Kingdom. Your life produces love, joy, peace, and good works at exactly the right time.

· You prosper in whatever you do. Not necessarily in worldly riches, but in the true, eternal success that comes from walking with God.

"Lord,

Bless me like a tree planted by streams of water.
