Lord, Protect us from evil.

Amen. “Protect us from evil” is the cry Jesus Himself taught us to pray—a plea for the Father’s shielding presence against every form of darkness, danger, and deception. It is not a prayer of fear, but of faith. We do not deny the enemy’s existence, but we rest in the truth that our God is greater.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:13)

🙏 A Prayer for Protection from Evil

Father,

I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus.

Protect us from every evil—

From the evil one,

From evil people,

From evil plans,

From evil words,

From evil influences,

From evil spirits.

Cover us with the blood of Jesus.

Hide us under the shadow of Your wings.

Guard our coming and our going.

Keep us from harm seen and unseen.

Let no weapon formed against us prosper.

Let no evil come near our dwelling.

Let Your angels encamp around us.

We trust in Your protection.

We rest in Your presence.

We are safe in Your hands.

“Deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:13)

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of Protection

I declare today:

The Lord protects us from evil.

He is our refuge and our fortress.

We are hidden in Christ.

We are covered by His blood.

We are guarded by His angels.

No evil will befall us.

No weapon will prosper against us.

No enemy will overcome us.

For the Lord is our light and our salvation—

whom shall we fear?

“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)

💎 A Final Encouragement

You are not left unprotected. The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. Trust in His covering, rest in His care, and walk in the confidence that He who watches over you never slumbers nor sleeps.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)

Protect us from evil, Lord—we trust in You. 🙏🛡️💙
