Take away my Shame.

 I hear you. Shame is one of the heaviest burdens a soul can carry. But the truth of the gospel is this: Jesus did not come to condemn you—He came to set you free.

"For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will not be disappointed [in his expectations].'" — Romans 10:11 (AMP)

The Scripture That Removes Shame:

Isaiah 61:7 (AMP) — "Instead of your [former] shame you will have a double portion [of honor]; and instead of humiliation your people will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double [what they had forfeited]; everlasting joy will be theirs."

Psalm 34:5 (AMP) — "They looked to Him and were radiant; their faces will never blush in shame or confusion."

Hebrews 12:2 (AMP) — "Jesus, who [for the joy of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame."

Romans 10:11 (AMP) — "Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed [in his expectations]."

What the Cross Did to Your Shame:

· He carried it. Shame was nailed to the cross. He bore the weight of your guilt and disgrace so you no longer have to.

· He despised it. He ignored the shame and saw beyond it—to the joy set before Him.

· He removed it. Your shame is not covered—it is removed. As far as the east is from the west.

· He replaced it. He gives you honor, beauty, and a crown of glory in place of ashes and shame.

A Prayer for Freedom from Shame:

"Lord Jesus,

I come to You with the weight of shame I have carried.

Shame for what I have done.

Shame for what has been done to me.

Shame for who I thought I was.

I lay it all at Your feet.

You bore my shame on the cross.

You despised it—and defeated it.

You rose again—and left it in the grave.

I receive Your forgiveness.

I receive Your cleansing.

I receive Your freedom.

I am not defined by my past.

I am defined by Your love.

I am not marked by my failures.

I am marked by Your grace.

I am not condemned—I am forgiven.

I am not shamed—I am honored.

I am not disgraced—I am made whole.

Take away my shame, Lord.

I will lift my head—

because You have lifted me."

May the Lord remove every trace of shame from your heart. May you know that you are fully forgiven, fully accepted, and fully loved. May you lift your head high—not in pride, but in the quiet confidence of a child who knows they are safe in their Father's arms. And may you walk today in the freedom of the One who has set you free.

Take away my shame. He has. He is. He will. You are free. Walk in that freedom—today and always.
